Many times when we say we're going out and build a relationship with someone, that's really code for we're going to go sellim something. We talk about intent on the podcast, and we talk about it from a sale standpoint. What is your intent when you show up at the prospect's office? Are you bringing value to the relationship ecause that will help build a relationship or only doing the behavior that's going to help you sell something? Be detached. It's what i refer to in my own words, as the law of not trying t the less you become to another person.
