The Definition of the Hijab

The word al-hijab in the Arabic language is a sittu, it's the conceal. In the sharia, it means what the Muslim woman conceals herself to prevent foreign men from seeing her body. The opposite of Hejab is known as tabarruch and Allah commands that women should not go out with no hejab on.
