Did Scottishbryis Really Get It Right?

D dialects seemed to be a really big theme in his work. How did he go aboutcon ing them, and why was he so determined to include them in his books? Is it to do with this idea of realistic depiction? He didn't always get it right. And i suppose that's not really what he was trying to do. He was trying to preserve the manners and the language fdifferent areas of the country. Now, of course, he wasn't an expert, and all those, yes, mistakes happen.
