The Importance of Comfort in Trading
In the end each trader has to live with his or her own decision. For somebody like my mother who couldn't stand to see her account go up or down a penny, she would have to trade at like a tenth of 1%. Comfort level also comes from expertise. May not be material to making a lot of money but it's very material to your experience and your growth as a trader.
