Josh's Story Doesn't Make AnySense

Josh's story still didn't make any sense. If he and Amelia had hired someone or multiple people to murder Cynthia Stack, why then would Josh go talk to her in an attempt to amicably resolve the stolen money situation? This is after you pay these people to take care of her. Why would you be worried about paying her back the money when you repay these people $10,000 to kill her? Both of them had tried to implicate the other in this weird, deranged plot. But in the end, it didn't matter. Rightfully so, this married couple was booked and both of them faced murder charges.
