Is the Wall Street Journal Stable?

The traditional core journalism world, as it existed, has shifted to where there's not enough compensation to justify heavy research in most places. You have some new formats coming out like ProPublica or even the Guardian which was basically turned into a giant trust with its own funding. Who knows what's going to happen to the FT or the New York Times? I think the Wall Street Journal is stable, but as we move more towards indexing, who knows?
