The Importance of Ego in Habits

Many people devote themselves to working 18, 19 hour days and they convince themselves that they are doing it for their family. A lot of the time it's actually ego that's driving them to do that. We can be so convinced that we can kick the bad habits that we don't put in the work to actually kick that habit or vice versa. So the ego can definitely come into play either way positively or negatively in those breaking and setting habits.
