Is the Free World Still Free?

The constitution was designed to protect a broad range of widely understood liberties. Some are singled out in the constitution, others are not. The generations of the founding and the post civil war second founding had little difficulty in identifying them. We've been talking about it on this show since my first show in the basement of saverna park with joe, what, seven years ago? Is freedom really a goo thing? What are the bench marks for the destruction of a republic into third world madness, authoritarian madness?
