God saves them from Egypt and they turn right around and rebel against him. I mean, that is the characteristic of a sinner's heart. How many times does God do good things for us? And then we're poking our nose in some idolatry or other. So God keeps doing what he always does. He calls us back, he shows mercy and continues to give us a savior which is a different savior than here in verse five.
