Dorsal Bunions and Tibia Tendon Transfer
A dorsal bunion is caused by a dorsal flex first metatarsal, specifically, there is a flexor haliss brevis and abductor halis over pull secondary to weak plant or flexion. A dorsal bunion may be sociated with inadvertent perineous longest lengthening at the index. The indications for tibia tendon transfer in the setting of residual club foot are poor first rate ground contact, weight bearing on the lateral border of the foot and dynamic supenation or inversion of the forefoot.
