How to Simplify Language
When you're hearing or reading language that's just slightly harder than you can understand, then you make an effort to process it and make sense of it. That's where you learn best. The problem is when you're given language that's too much harder, then you just shut down and you don't listen to it. And if it's too easy, then you never get any better.
