The reason this is allowed to happen is an easy one. We do not have a functioning media enterprise in the united states that speaks true truth to power. If the democrat media turned on a dime to morrow and started speaking truth to power, you would never see another spying scandal again. You wouldn't see lies like this allowed to persist.
