'Sandra's Into the Circle of Discipline
Sandra was sent to boarding school at the age of 10. She and a friend got into an argument over making her bed. The two girls ended up in circle of discipline, where they were whipped with leather belts. Sandra couldn't wait for christmas break so she could go home. But when she didn't get picked up until summer it felt like forever. Her mam begged her not to send her back - but she had no choice. Sandra eventually found herself being adopted by another family. Now aged 13, she is finally able to move out on her own.
