Laura and her family left vermont for similar reasons to miley goyle and taisha green. The lack of diversity made living here uncomfortable for Laura, the only difference being laura's white. She says there just wasn't even enough diversity in her community to practise being an ally. What would it take for you to come back to vermont? If i felt like i had a clear way to to not feel like i'm returning to this idyllic place, and am, and going back to a life where i don't have to think about these things.
