Symptoms of Tarsal Tunnel Cendrome
Tarsal tunnel cendrome may result from either proximate compression of the tibial nerve or from distal compression of any of the terminal branches. The patient fails conservative management and requires operative intervention during complete surgical release. Diagnosis is largely clinical, but should be supplemented with amari or ultra sound to rule out any compressive lesions. Electro diagnostic studies are questionable utility.
