When i was executive director at ar southeast, it was so important for us to have the folks working at ar southeast the a reflection of the communities that we work in. So there was, you know, prioritizing the fact that people of color, mainly black folks, are working at the abortion fund. A lot of folks don't think of the other barriers that may keep someone from having an abortion - tats, rides, lodging child car,. In some states, there's two visits that you have to go to, versus just being able to go into a clinic and get an abortion.
