The Disunity of Science

There are in some quarters a push to include indigenous knowledge within the teaching of science. I understand there's also a link between the idea of the disunity of science and how best to consider say indigenous and traditional knowledge systems. To take my example from earlier, the conservation biologist is going to have a better conversation with a traditional custodian of the land than a particle physicist. And so to call everything that we do, science actually betrays all these important differences.
