African countries will be going to St. Petersburg with a broad variety of different interests that will take shape primarily during their bilateral need sense on the margins of the main summits. Some of these countries have very direct material interests at stake following the invasion of Ukraine as these relate to food security, energy security and so on. But for many other African countries who aren't directly affected materially, they will certainly want to be looking into expanding their trade relationships"
