I've recently been recording a female vocalist in a kind of a country style. And I'm reminded once again of that power of singing. Some people, you know, just have this voice where it's like, they can project and they can go from the low verse to the chorus. There's just power on them, on the mic. It's almost like mixing can feel like changing the filter and the hue of the colors slightly.
