Fox Is Willing to Move Forward in This Case, but It's a Level of Gamesmanship

I think that most people assumed that Fox would settle, that they wouldn't want these damaging emails and texts to come out in discovery. There's probably going to be a whole other wave, another pretrial inning in these court cases where we're counsel for each side. I'm actually now persuaded by the notion that Fox is willing to take this thing, another beat, maybe the trial, but that they're willing to move forward here. The bar for defamation against a public figure is really high as the Sarah Palin lawsuit against the New York Times showed. It's clear that Fox hosts were intentionally and maliciously going forward with these quote unquote allegations.
