The Mongol Conquest of Europe Was Stopped
Before jengus invaded the moslem world, one of his wives told him in no uncertain terms that he'd better look after his heir. He agreed to that and appointed his third son ugaday as his heir. But it was ogadey himself who picked up the reins some time after jengi's death and re started the campaign westwards. The mongol conquest of europe was stopped because back in mongolia, one of jengis heirs died, and everyone had to retreat in order to look after the succession.
