The GOP is hell bent on only enforcing the laws that they desire to enforce. They pick and choose what laws they're going to enforce, including giving preferential treatment to illegal immigrants. D.C. Mayor Bowser literally called a state of emergency and demanded $50 million in the guard be called up for sanctuary cities like New York City or Martha's Vineyard. This would all save more money than the IRS could ever collect. It would spare thousands of young men from becoming drug addicts saved tens of thousands of lives from fentanyl overdoses.
