The Lord Delivered Me From My Enemies
"You have given me the shield of your salvation," David writes. "I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and i did not turn back till they were consumed." He says God made his feet like deer's feet so that he can bend a bow of bronze for war. The king is anointed by samuel before anyone else in history; this makes him more powerful than any other man who has ever been chosen to be Israel's leader.
