CNN's John Sutter talks about dumpster diving as a means of extracting information for social engineering purposes. He says he has found frightening things on people's discarded computers that they did not know they were throwing away. The last item on the list is deep fakes, which are essentially synthetic media and could be used to target voters in upcoming elections.
