The Importance of Compassion in Therapy

I think the nice thing about therapy is instead of waiting, because I find myself one of these people that if I am in the middle of some type of uncertainty or trauma or drama, usually it's very difficult to kind of see it. But years later, you can step back and go, oh gosh, I know what that was. I can see it clear as day now. If somebody comes to you while it's happening, they can perhaps get there a little bit quicker than waiting the years and years and years to look back and go. Right? It's really great to have somebody who can hold up a mirror to you. A lot of what a therapist will do is hold
