Physical exams should include inspection and palpation, motion assessment and nermo vascular evaluation. Symptoms include severe ankle pain, ankle deformity and inability to bear weight. For surgical planning, treatment of tibio plaphon fractures can be non operative or operative. Non operative management includes casto mobilization for stable fracture patterns without articular surface displacement.
