The Importance of Reciprocity in Relationships

The most valuable things you can do are probably things that you can't explicitly charge for. The imprecurement sometimes makes that relatedness impossible, and they create visible and quantifiable savings but at the price of unquantifiable costs. It's always much easier to quantify savings than it is to quantify opportunity costs. No one has an incentive to innovate or go the extra mile in a transactional relationship.
