Bishop Athanasia Schneider's View on the SSPX

Bishop Athanasia Schneider was sent in 2015 as what's called an apostolic visitor, kind of an official envoy from the Vatican. He said there are no weighty reasons to deny the clergy and faithful of the Society of St. Pius X canonical recognition. In my opinion, he continues, the SSPX should be recognized. If they were, it would be a true spiritual and pastoral help to the entire church, Bishop Snyder says.
