Lincoln was a very unusual character and if I think it's why he's one of the most beloved in our history. He suffered horrible depression growing up and this was largely due to the death that he endured in his life as you alluded to. His father was a horrible guy in alcoholic and Christian and Lincoln rejected Christianity at first when he first kind of goes out on his own because of what he thought a Christian wasDue to his father and he apparently yes yeah it was not a moral character at first Lincoln.
