The Messenger's Business Model
The messenger wants to basically be the grid times 10. They want to be a populist, consumer-focused politics and politics adjacent media company that exists off of advertising. The coverage of the messenger has been skeptical of this notion because the guys who are running it have been out of the game for a couple of years. And they may not recognize that the thesis that they're pursuing is a lot harder to run to ground than it may have been years ago.
