Kir Simmonds: It has been a week of incredible images and we really got into sharp focus, I think, this battle, frankly, between two men. President Biden standing with the Bucharest 9 at the same time as President Putin here in Moscow stood on a stage at another rally with Russians fans. Fascinating. And it does tell you that despite all of the rhetoric and the fears of escalation, which are real, there is still this part of President Putin who is trying to figure out how to get from A to B now.
