The Peasant Uprisings of the 15th Century
There were several significant peasant uprisings in the mid 15 hundreds, triggered both by the dissolution of the monasteries and by the enclosure movement. People would go to the commons, they would tear down fences, demolish walls and just try to physically stop the process of enclosure. If that didn't work, you know, eventually the militia might come in, and ou could come to blows,. So ultimately what could happen is you could organize and take up arms and rebel and try to stop enclosure by force.
