The Fed Does Not See a Recession Coming This Year
Last year, 100% of the economists polled by Bloomberg were expecting a hard landing and recession. A year ago, people thought that there's 100% chance we're going to have a recession. And now they're kind of backing off of that a little bit. I don't think very many signs that we're having a recession out there. There are definitely problems in commercial real estate. But as I mentioned, 200,000 jobs are still being created. Estimates are for, you know, earnings growth to rebound next year. We'll see if those estimates are correct, but still reason to doubt them just yet.
