i think the kind of solidarity that you're talking about is possible in moments of extreme crisis. There's no, there's no sort of escaping it. If you are an alcoholic who hits bottom and needs an intervention, i think the network of friends that will respond in real ways to that is larger than th much larger than a longer period of time. And even if there isn't anything you can do to help them, just being present for them is important. Just listening to them rant and curse is actually a really good thing to do.
