The Case of a Stranger Abduction
A two-year-old girl was playing outside in a motel in South Lake Tahoe when a woman with dark hair walked up, picked her up and then just started walking away with her. Investigators quickly shift their focus to tracking down J.C.'s biological father because he was literally the last one to see her. The next few days are a flurry of activity as police make an appeal to the public for information but get no leads. A sketch artist creates a composite of both the woman and the car that is circulated around law enforcement agencies across California and Nevada.
