The Importance of Community in the Refugee Situation
When the war broke out it affected us very strongly and we believe in what we do as Buddhists. We have done over the years even though various crises were going on but this time it felt different. The first idea was well, the Buddhist center we use it mostly in the evenings, sometimes in the mornings rarely at weekends. So this 80 square meters of space that's empty and we decided just to pick up a few people from the train station. I'm really proud of Poles, Poland this time. We felt we had to do our bit."
