The Fall of the Templars

The Templars are an exempt order exempted from the party to obey the bishops and supposedly exempt him from having to obey the king operating across the whole of Catholic Christendom obviously there are going to be clashes. Despite the fact they've taken religious vows all these brothers still have a family I say brothers but there are some sisters too but they stay put they don't travel about so for the purposes of this argument we'll just concentrate on the brothers. One of the issues which scholars debate over the fall of the Templars is one of the points that the king of France actually just wants to get the land back.
