The History of the Colored Slavery

Both sides turned to the slaves as their shock troops. The colords of the west marched around to the various plantations, drumming up recruits. Pretty soon, the clashes between the whites and colards were mostly clashes between slave and slave fighting both sides of a war that basically had nothing to do with them.
