The History of Finite Scheduling
Finite scheduling is the concept of an abstracted data model that could be used to describe diverse manufacturing operations from within a single system. Every manufacturer generally has a finite amount of time to produce in a given day. The order in which I produce things oftentimes matters, and we want our sequence to be A to C to B. And so I think that's the highlights. If anybody asks why I've got certain opinions, they now know the whole gory thread that got me there.
