i think there's an element of that too. It makes it easier to say, then, ye, i just want to be selfish right now. There are times when you do need to retreat and be a hermit. But it is also important to like, go out in the world and be part of the world. At the same time, am i as good a writer as joan didy? And probably not. So maybe i should try asin see what comes out of it.
