The Southern Baptist Convention's Decision to Ban Female Pastors in Its Churches
The Southern Baptist Convention upheld a decision to expel two of its churches, including one of its largest, for having women pastors. Members at the annual convention in New Orleans today overwhelmingly favored a constitutional amendment that requires a church quote employees only men as qualified pastors. The votes are the latest effort to crack down on a perceived liberal shift in the organization. Back here at home, owners of electric vehicles will soon be able to use many of Tesla's charging stations.
