The Role of Bonds in the Eurozone
I'm willing to believe that, you know, the stock markets are being entirely rational in what they're doing. But I will accept the argument that relative to bonds, stocks look like fair value or stockless extractive. The real concern I have is that the stock markets themselves are being influenced, if not outright controlled, by central bank policy. And that central bank policy is basically to get everybody into the stock market. That's a psychology at work that we can't lose throughout history on this point. There's some great quotes along the lines of: no force on earth can stop a people who are determined to grow rich. Nothing you say or do can change that quick-rich mindset
