Eight of 11 starters for the Eagles are making at least seven million per year. Gannon: Defense is a really hard thing to capture in terms of week to week APA per play, success rate allowed per drive and opponent yards per play. This year they're more aggressive. They're more physical. They're better communication. The good players are being put in more positions to be successful. That Vikings game stands out where it was like they never blissed like this ever last year. And that's sort of stuff that makes me very, very enthusiastic, optimistic.
