The biggest shift for me was when i got out of my own way, right? Like, i shifted from viewing any negotiation from only my perspective. So it's not, why should they agree with me? But instead, if we look at it from why shouldn't they agree with us? Why might they not? You know, what would be their objections? What would be their hang ups? What's going to get in the way of them saying yes to what we're proposing? And then, you know, classic debate style, you preempt their objections, and you lay out the different reasons,. you know, why you can overcome their objections absolutely.
