The Importance of Understanding the Theory of Relativity
Timothy Stanley: The basic question is just about the nature of space and time as we understand it or in so far as there are theories about it. He says his idea was to walk through some of the history of the development of different concepts of how space and time are put together. Stanley: I think what happens is that physicists really appreciate attention to this sort of very basic conceptual foundational issues, again, because you just don't get it much in your physics classes.
