Introduction

James Roy Lawson and Pat Axel interview Don Norman, the grandfather of UX. He's known for his books on design but also as a consultant with Nielsen Norman Group. The first time I heard him in person was at an event where he spoke about kids' tablet use. Some things that stand out are how early you were writing about human-centered design for digital space. But perhaps most of all, what I'm realizing is that you never seem to be satisfied with your own conclusions.
