UPenn - Is There a Benefit to the Undergraduates?

Teaching in a freshman seminar is incredibly rewarding, partly because it's not required. No student has to take this; they have to be passionate about it. So and people teach all kinds of interesting things, you know, one of my colleagues in physics who has a Nobel Prize in physics teaches a course on photography. And similarly, I think on the research setting, both for the energy they bring, but also the opportunity to provide mentorship opportunities with students.
