Introduction

Last week we looked at how the book of revelation has been interpreted throughout history. We discussed futurism, preterism, idealism and praterism. And i think our main takeaway after discussing all these historical positions was that we believe revelation fits best within a jewish apocalyptic framework. So in today's episode, we want to look at revelation a little bit more and see how it fits squarely into a first century jewishocalyptic framework. But then the last part of the podcast will focus on some key themes from Revelation 19 through 22.
