The Importance of Research on Marijuana

A study published in the Science Journal Neuropsychopharmacology suggests that pot smokers have higher blood flow to the brain. A drug called Epidiolx, which contains Canabidiol or CBD, a cannabis compound known for its medical benefits, is currently being developed and may soon win the approval of the FDA. That is a huge departure from the research provided by the University of Queensland, which warns against adolescent marijuana use. Also, studies have shown that people who are pregnant or showing signs of depression or schizophrenia should not smoke pot. The hemp plant can be used for a seemingly endless number of products and we're only just starting to learn its full range of capabilities and uses.
