The fall of Todor Jifkov in Bulgaria was a putch from the inside, says Simon Tisdall. The new communist leadership under Peter Madenov has already held out an olive branch to Eco-Glaznost's political issues. But not a whole lot really changes in Bulgaria because it wasn't invaded by the Soviet Union and there were never Russian tanks putting down domestic uprising.
